The Arlington Heights Park Foundation invites you to play in its first-ever Pickleball Tournament on Sunday, May 21 at Dryden Park. The fee is $100 per team. Proceeds will benefit a fully accessible playground for people of all abilities. Registration is now closed. Day of registration is not available.

Tournament Details:

  • Beginner (2.0-2.9), Intermediate 3.0, Intermediate 3.5 and Advanced Divisions (4.0+)
  • Teams of 2 (any combination). Players must be 16+
  • Round Robin Tournament Format. 5 Game Guaranteed.
  • Warm-Ups Begin 30 Minutes Before Your Division Starts with a Kickoff Meeting 15 Minutes Before
  • Division Winners Receive Medal
  • Ball TBD

Not sure which division you should register for? Learn more on each skill level below!

  • 2.0 to 2.5 players have limited experience, can sustain a short rally with players of equal ability and basic ability to keep score.
  • 3.0 players are well versed in all the shots, scoring and basic doubles strategy. Players can execute all shots with some success and some inconsistency.
  • 3.5 players can execute all the shots with consistency and directional control. Ball spin and low shot trajectories can still be inconsistent.
  • Level 4.0+ players are considered advanced. Game is played at the non-volley zone. Communicates and moves well with a partner. Understands strategy and can adjust style of play and game play according to the opponents strengths and weaknesses and court position. Limited number of unforced errors.
