The Drive to Revive Memorial Park

Join our community in helping with The Drive to Revive Memorial Park!

Beginning Memorial Day 2007, a community group of dedicated veterans and other residents started working in conjunction with the Arlington Heights Park Foundation to raise funds for the updating and renovation of Memorial Park - the park which honors our town's active-duty service members, veterans and their families.

Memorial Park Sculpture Contest Entries due September 24

The Village Arts Commission and the Drive to Revive Memorial Park Citizens Group are seeking entries for a sculpture competition by September 24 for a public sculpture that could be placed in the renovated Memorial Park.

The theme for the contest is: “Honoring veterans of the Arlington Heights community and the families who support them.”

The winner will be announced by November 11.

(The Artist shall provide a cost estimate for their submittal which considers design, execution, transportation and installation of the piece. Proposals of lesser amounts will be favorably received since implementation of the sculpture may depend on the availability of funding.)
